The CIRPS Advisory Committee is a rotating group of regional stakeholders who offer the Steering Committee and Project Director advice on major issues and strategic planning. The roles of the Advisory Committee also include the following:

• Review project idea proposals,
• Provide advice/guidance on funding possibilities,
• Provide advice/guidance for project idea development,
• Identify key members for Advisory Committee,
• Identify key stakeholders for particular initiatives,
• Represent broad interests from outside the university,
• Develop creative project ideas, andd
• Ensure non-duplication of current initiatives of collaborating organizations.
